Overview
This device is a handheld, convenient to use and rather inexpensive barcode reader terminal.
Its interface is minimalist with two buttons, two LEDs, a buzzer, a USB port and a Bluetooth interface.
This terminal is used only for taking inventory, that is to say, for scanning locations and assets barcode labels in sequence.
This device can be used in batch mode. In this mode, the OPN is autonomous: codes scanned are stored locally in a file. Once inventory taking is over, this file can be transferred onto a PC running the Inventif software so that a fixed assets inventory database is be updated with data from the field. The USB cable is used both to charge the battery and for data transfer.
This device can also be used in HID mode. In this mode, the OPN has to be connected via Bluetooth to a device running the Movintory2 software. A code is exploited immediately after it has been scanned. The USB cable is used to charge the battery.
There is no program to install into the OPN but the terminal must be specifically configured to be able to work either with the Inventif program or with the Movintory2 program.

- Two LEDs and a buzzer indicate the operating status of the terminal. For example, when a barcode is successfully read, both LEDs briefly light up green and a beep is emitted. Another example: when the battery is charging, the two LEDs are red. When the terminal is charged, both LEDs turn green.
