Training general conditions

The following conditions supplement the general conditions of sale and apply only to training.

For mainland France residents, training is invoiced at the end of the training period and payable within thirty (30) days. In case of payment by a paying agency designated by the CUSTOMER, the latter expressly indicates the exact contact details of the paying agency on his/her order or registration form. The CUSTOMER directly submits his/her request to the paying agency before the training begins. The CUSTOMER ensures the paying agency properly covers the training costs in due time. In any event, the CUSTOMER remains responsible for the payment, in particular in case the paying agency fails to pay IODE. In case the training invoice is only partially paid by the paying agency, the CUSTOMER will be invoiced the remainder of the sum. In case IODE doesn't have all the elements required for this training invoice payment the first day of the training period, the CUSTOMER will be invoiced of the whole sum.
A copy of the Training Agreement must imperatively be returned to IODE, complemented and signed, at least eight (8) days before the training session. If the Training Agreement is not returned, the invoices shall serve as a Simplified Training Agreement in accordance with the French Labor Code provisions.

In case the CUSTOMER cancels his/her training within fifteen (15) days before the training starts, IODE will deduct from the total cost of the training, the costs that IODE actually spent or committed to this training session.
The CUSTOMER, obliged to cancel his/her training reservation, will not be invoiced if this cancellation occurs more than eight (8) days before the start of the training. Otherwise, 50% of the amount of the training costs will be charged if the cancellation occurs less than eight (8) days before the start of the training.
In case the CUSTOMER is not present at the time of the training session or withdraws from it, the training is payable in full.
In the event that IODE is forced to cancel a training session for force majeure reasons, IODE undertakes to propose a new action, scheduled within three (3) months of the canceled one, at no additional cost. In the case of a training session paid in advance, which would not have been carried out within a period of three (3) months following this payment or within the period contractually fixed between the CUSTOMER and IODE, IODE will cancel its training commitment and will refund the sums paid to this end by the CUSTOMER, reduced by a flat rate of 10% for management, organization costs and costs that IODE would have actually incurred in anticipation of this training.

The Attendance Sheet, duly signed by the trainees and the trainer, serves as a Certificate of Attendance.

The CUSTOMER undertakes to have a good Internet connection during the training session. The training is carried out using a remote assistance and online meeting software. Access to this tool must be authorized by the CUSTOMER's network administrators, otherwise it is the CUSTOMER's responsibility and financial burden to provide and set up an equivalent tool to carry out this training remotely, both on the CUSTOMER's side and that of IODE. The time spent in connection interruptions (Internet, phone, etc.), whatever the cause, is part of the training time.

Sales conditions for on-site training for residents outside mainland France will always be the subject of a specific contract. Nevertheless, the following rules, in particular, will be applied for the drafting of this contract. Duration and billing minima depend on the training location. Training costs are increased by a long-distance travel allowance which depends on the training location. Air transportation costs are based on direct scheduled flights in economy class. Other foreseeable transportation costs are evaluated and fixed. Meals and accommodation costs are fixed for each day of travel and depend on local conditions. Training dates are subject to the availability of the TRAINER, the CUSTOMER, the flight and the accommodation. The training costs and the long-distance travel allowance must be paid prior to deciding on the training dates. The other costs are payable in full at least eight (8) days before the TRAINER's departure from France. Concerning these other costs, an indicative quote can be proposed, given training dates.

Training carried out in France, for residents outside mainland France, or remotely from France is subject to non-refundable V.A.T. (20%). Training carried out abroad is V.A.T. excluded.
