Overview
The Bluebird S20 terminal is a rugged handheld computer with an imager scanner that allows to read barcodes and 2D codes (like QR codes).
Its operating system is Android. The graphical user interface is an Android-like interface.
The screen is touch sensitive with a software keyboard. It has lateral triggers that can be pressed to activate the imager scanner for reading codes.
This device, with its integrated scan engine and its side trigger codes reading activation, brings enterprise quality scanning to you: efficiency and comfort (moderate muscle exertion, wrist-posture friendliness). Simply point the code (the target area gets illuminated with a red halo with a central red dot) and shoot.
The Movintory 2 program can be installed in this device.
1 battery
1 power adapter (charger)
1 plug adapter (Europe)
1 USB-A to USB-C cable
1 hand strap
- Note that it is good to remember to switch off the device when not in use to preserve the battery charge. Bluetooth and Wi-fi also consume a lot of energy, turn their interfaces off if you don't need them.
- Reading barcodes using a 2D imager scanner is easier than using a 1D laser scanner but less accurate. If two codes are close to each other, the imager scanner may read either one or the other. However, with Inventif, since the label layout is customizable, it is easy to ensure that the barcode to be read is well isolated, which in turn greatly facilitates reading.
